With God we are ALWAYS in our PRIME!

NOTES:

7 I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadesh Barnea to explore the land. And I brought him back a report according to my convictions, 8 but my fellow Israelites who went up with me made the hearts of the people melt in fear. I, however, followed the LORD my God wholeheartedly…. 10“Now then, just as the LORD promised, he has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time he said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the wilderness. So here I am today, eighty-five years old! 11 I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I’m just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then. 12 Now give me this hill country that the LORD promised … Read More »

9th February

Stretch our faith and become stronger:

Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch our the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare…lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes! Isaiah 54:2

Exercise your faith daily:

Draw near to God and He will Draw near to you…James 4:8

Rejoice always,  pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Stand with others and not just stand for yourself:

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed…James 5:16

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. 1 John 3:16

Expect results:

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give … Read More »

The Journey in Action

Serve high by serving low

But Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28

For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves. Luke 22:27

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, … Read More »

A Warrior Knows the True Formula for Success

We move – God moves…Dean Sweetman

F + R/A = R

Faith PLUS Right Action EQUALS Reward

Dear friends, do you think you’ll get anywhere in this if you learn all the right words but never do anything? Does merely talking about faith indicate that a person really has it? James 2:14 MSG

If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2:16 – 17 NIV

Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what … Read More »

Know Your Foundation!

Posted by Collin McMullen in Faith, Video Blog. No Comments

16th August

Key Verse: Ephesians 6:15

For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. New Living Translation

and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE; New American Standard Bible

Put on your shoes so that you are ready to spread the Good News that gives peace. God’s Word Translation

Key Points:

Foundation is not flashy…it is not a natural focal point…but without foundation you cannot STAND.
Your footwear provides you with a solid foundation. They firm up your faith…stand on God’s promises…based on God’s word.
On boots;

Armies advance
Sword thrusts have power
Shields deflect blows

Without boots;

Progress halts on rough terrain
Sword thrusts are weakened
Shields are dropped and broken

Verse in Context: Ephesians 6:13-17 NLT

So put on all of God’s armor. Evil days will come. But you will be able to stand … Read More »

9th August

Key Verse:

Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am. Philippians 4:13

Key Points:

God knows who you are
Get to know yourself and get comfortable with who God made you to be
Live your life with Gusto
Put your faith in Jesus
100% living…100% faith…100% reliance
I can do all things through Jesus who gives me strength because I was newly created through Jesus who gives me strength

Walk out your revelation!

Posted by Collin McMullen in Focus, Video Blog. No Comments

2nd August

Key Verse:

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”

“Well,” they replied, “some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.”

Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being. Matthew 16:13-17

Key Points:

Knowledge is important but revelation is equal…
Without revelation, knowledge means little. Without knowledge, you don’t know HOW to walk out your revelation.
Don’t give up on your revelation but take the effort to WALK IT OUT.
Study the word … Read More »

Step Off The Wall – Jesus Will Guide You!

Posted by Collin McMullen in Faith, Recovery, Video Blog. 1 Comment

26th July

Psalm 91:14-15 The Lord says, “I will save the one who loves me. I will keep him safe, because he trusts in me.  He will call out to me, and I will answer him.  I will be with him in times of trouble.  I will save him and honor him.

Key Points:

When you trust and love Him, God will get you out of trouble.
When you step out in faith and freeze, God doesn’t judge your failure. He helps you out of your predicament and helps you BACK onto the wall.
Jesus is beside you. He may send someone else to “talk you down” but He will NOT leave you stranded.
Step out in faith…YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Pursue!

Posted by Collin McMullen in Focus, Teamwork, Video Blog. 1 Comment

19th July

2 Timothy 2:22 Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Key Points:

Flee from your sin but don’t focus on your weakness/struggle
Focus on the PURSUIT
What holds you back (sin, wrong thinking) falls off IF your pursuit is FAST and FURIOUS
You are not meant to pursue alone…find others to go with you
