Jeremiah 17:7-8

But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.

  • TRUST: firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something
  • CONFIDENCE: the feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or something; firm trust
  • BLESSED: endowed with divine favor and protection

Your belief in the reliability and strength of God builds your confidence to TRUST God. As you trust, you are able to STEP in faith and SEE in true reality. When you see truth,  you see God’s FAVOR and PROTECTION.

Your trust plants you in God’s house. Your roots go deep because you stay where you are planted. Where you are planted is where you will see God’s FAVOR and PROTECTION.

It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

A tree doesn’t fear or worry. When it senses a shift in the flow of the current…its life source…the tree’s roots shift. The roots grow towards the water but the tree itself STANDS where planted. When a tree stands at the source of living water, it never fails to bear fruit.

If you are thinking of running today…STAND and TRUST God. There you will see His FAVOR and PROTECTION. There you WILL bear fruit.
