But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. - James 3:5
The fire pit experience is something that is worked into every Journey program. Every time, God shows up, because a group people have gathered around with expectation, seeking him.
“For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” – Matthew 18:20
But fires don’t just happen.
It takes a spark to get the fire going, but that spark and initial flame takes nurturing.
If you create a spark, light the kindling and then do nothing to the the fire, 9/10 times the fire will go out.
Our faith in God is like a fire. It starts with a spark, us accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
We then need nurture that spark through reading the bible and prayer. (A fire that is not fed goes out)
Our tiny spark then grows into a fire which affect those around us.
Make sure you feed your fire daily.
