Give yourself to God…Receive His promise as your hope

Many things we have lost…but we will never lose Jesus. He is our fortune…our treasure and fortress…who has promised to never leave us nor forsake us. Into the abundance of who He is plant your needs, worship and love with rivers of tears. Not tears of despair but tears of submission. Give 100% of yourself to God in your prayers and you will harvest joy.

Restore our fortunes, Lord,
as streams renew the desert.
Those who plant in tears
will harvest with shouts of joy.Psalm 126:4-5

Hope…in the face of failure, despair, disappointment, hurt, misunderstanding, hunger, regret, anger, fear, and uncertainty…hope provides us with the courage to step again. To rise the next day…THIS DAY…and see that God is by our side.

But there’s one other thing I remember,
and remembering, I keep a grip on hope:
God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out,
his merciful love couldn’t have dried up.
They’re created new every morning.
How great your faithfulness!
I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over).
He’s all I’ve got left.
God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits,
to the woman who diligently seeks.
It’s a good thing to quietly hope,
quietly hope for help from God. Lamentations 3:21-26

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning. Psalm 30:5

Get to know His word…it will guide you, protect you, encourage you when you  need it most.

God’s words are pure words,
Pure silver words refined seven times
In the fires of his word-kiln,
Pure on earth as well as in heaven. Psalm 12:6

And then…you have the tools and strength to hold on to His hope.
