A Time for Everything
For everything there is a season,a time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
- We are men who rejoice in life and a life well lived.
- We are men who plant for the future and reap a harvest for God.
- We are men of action who are willing to fight,
- We will carry a brother so they can heal.
- We cry and we morn.
- We laugh, we dance and we rejoice.
- We know when to be loud and we know when to be quiet and listen.
- We will go to war for our brothers and enjoy those times of peace.

God knew we’d have hard times; He knows it gets rough once in awhile! But He’s made us capable of not only enduring, but flourishing if we KNOW who He made us to be & BELIEVE that He’s sharpening us when things look bleak.
I really needed this today. It helps us to remember that although the natural world is full of seasons, the spiritual world is also, As Christians we may go through wintery stages of relatively no growth in our spiritual life, no real fruits that we can see, and become discouraged. We have to remember that these are dormate periods, and although the waiting on the Lord in these times are painful, we must still have faith that in our weakness He is being made strong. Thanks so much for your good words! May the Lord Bless you in abundantly for your work.
